I'm a single mother of 2 wonderful kids agesh 13 & 7.... It has been an awful year for me, I've been unemployed for 6 months now, get no child support, and just living of my unemployment; only making enough to get by. I've been going to food pantries and decided to stay over at a friend's house tonight, to use her PC and search for an angel. I'm a big believer in never taking advantage of the system, I've always struggled but work, to not get on welfare and leaving it for those that really need the help. Please if there's an angel out there, help me out please...I don't care if its only one gift, but I want my kids to wake up opening something....
My daughter makes me so proud, she's in a charter school and a top 10 in her class, she's been asked to join the John Hopkins school for talented kids next year, until finishing high school and entering college with 10 college credit under her belt, you see I was not giving these chances and was the youngest of 4 kids with a single mom working 2 jobs...imagine, I had to work at 15 to help out.....I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, because I'm a really proud mom, you don't get this from kids being raised in this neighborhood.....
